EXPC at OTC 2026: Visit Booth #507 to See the Future of Hazardous Area Surveillance

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is back in Houston, and Explosion Proof Camera (EXPC) is proud to be part of one of the most important events for the global offshore energy industry. From May 4 to May 7, 2026, at NRG Park, EXPC will be exhibiting at Booth #507 alongside our manufacturing partner Spectrum Camera Solutions and our technology partner RedAi.

If you work in oil and gas, offshore operations, petrochemicals, or any industry that depends on reliable surveillance in hazardous environments, this is a great opportunity to see firsthand the certified solutions that protect facilities, assets, and people in some of the most demanding conditions on the planet.

Why OTC 2026 Matters for Hazardous Area Surveillance

OTC has been the central hub for offshore energy professionals since 1969, and the 2026 edition is expected to bring together more than 30,000 attendees from over 100 countries. With the theme “Steering Offshore Energy Innovation into the Future,” this year’s conference focuses on how traditional offshore oil and gas operations are integrating with emerging energy sources to build a more resilient, secure, and sustainable energy future.

For surveillance and monitoring, this evolution brings new technical challenges. Offshore platforms, FPSOs, refineries, and processing facilities require certified equipment capable of operating reliably in the presence of explosive atmospheres, salt spray, extreme temperatures, and constant vibration. The cameras deployed in these environments need to combine globally recognized hazardous area certifications with modern imaging technology, network scalability, and increasingly, artificial intelligence and remote access capabilities.

That is exactly the intersection where EXPC, Spectrum Camera Solutions, and RedAi come together at Booth #507.

What You Will See at Booth #507

Spectrum Camera Solutions: Certified Manufacturing in Houston

Spectrum Camera Solutions designs and manufactures a full range of explosion-proof camera systems in Houston, Texas. Every Spectrum camera is built to operate in Class I, II, III, Division 1 (Groups B, C, D, E, F, G) environments and IECEx, ATEX, INMETRO, PESO, and UKCA Zone 1/21 (IIB+H2/IIIC) areas.

Visitors to Booth #507 will be able to see and handle several models from the Spectrum portfolio, including:

D-Series Explosion Proof Dome Cameras, featuring panoramic options with up to 14 MP multi-sensor imaging, 180 degree horizontal coverage, and PTZ models with 4K resolution and 20x optical zoom. The D-Series is housed in marine-grade aluminum or 316L stainless steel and is supplied with the Reliable Securing Kit, which is designed to DROPS (Dropped Object Prevention Scheme) standards and includes a secondary retention cable and galvanic corrosion prevention gasket set.

F100 Series Explosion Proof Fixed Cameras, built around marine-grade aluminum housings rated IP66, with an operational temperature range of -50 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius. The F100 Series is Power over Ethernet ready and includes models with 4MP and 5MP imaging, Forensic WDR, and Lightfinder technology for excellent low-light performance.

F200 Series Explosion Proof Fixed Cameras, the most versatile platform in the Spectrum lineup. F200 cameras are available in four power and connectivity configurations: PoE with redundant DC, 120 / 240 VAC, Media Converter (SFP), and wireless 4G or 5G variants. Resolutions range from 2MP to 8MP (4K), with built-in Deep Learning analytics and an operational range of -50 degrees Celsius to +90 degrees Celsius depending on the model.

All Spectrum cameras carry a 5-year warranty and are produced under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications.

EXPC: The Authorized Online Channel

As the official online store for Spectrum Camera Solutions, EXPC bridges the gap between manufacturer expertise and project-level execution. At Booth #507, the EXPC team will be available to discuss product selection, certification matching for specific jurisdictions, accessory configurations such as pole mounts and junction boxes, and procurement logistics for projects of any scale.

Whether you are specifying cameras for a new offshore platform, planning a refinery modernization, or replacing legacy equipment in a chemical processing facility, EXPC can help you align the right Spectrum model with your certification requirements and operational environment.

RedAi: Remote Access Software and Camera Leasing

The third pillar at Booth #507 is RedAi, our technology partner offering two complementary services that expand what hazardous area surveillance can deliver.

The first is a software platform that provides secure remote access to Spectrum cameras from anywhere. For operators managing distributed assets, remote platforms, or unmanned facilities, this means real-time visibility without being physically on site. The platform is built to work with the IP camera architecture of the Spectrum portfolio, integrating with the cybersecurity features and analytics already embedded in the cameras.

The second is a camera leasing model. Instead of a full capital purchase, RedAi offers leasing arrangements that pair the hardware with the remote access software, which can be particularly attractive for short-term projects, turnaround events, temporary installations, or organizations that prefer operational expenditure over capital expenditure. The Ex-Eyes Camera Rental System, which provides Class I Division 1 certified cameras with AI capabilities on a rental basis, fits naturally into this model.

The combination of certified hardware, remote access software, and flexible commercial models is something attendees will be able to see demonstrated live at the booth.

Who Should Visit Booth #507

OTC draws an exceptionally diverse audience, and Booth #507 is set up to be useful for several profiles:

Engineers and technical specialists working on hazardous area classifications, surveillance design, or process safety will find detailed product literature, live demonstrations, and direct conversations with people who understand the certification landscape, from cFMus and IECEx to ATEX, INMETRO, PESO, and UKCA.

Procurement and project managers handling specifications for offshore, midstream, or downstream projects can review the full Spectrum product portfolio, discuss accessory ecosystems including the SCS-PM and SCS-PM-XL pole mounts, the SCS-MM multi-mount, and the various junction box options for power and PoE distribution.

Operations and security leaders evaluating remote monitoring strategies will find the RedAi software demonstration particularly relevant, especially for facilities where 24/7 on-site monitoring presence is impractical or cost-prohibitive.

Existing customers and partners are also welcome to stop by. OTC is a great moment to discuss roadmap, share feedback from active deployments, and explore new applications for upcoming projects.
