Explosion Proof Camera (ExPC) Shipping, Returns & Warranty Policy

Explosion Proof Camera (“ExPC”) is the exclusive distributor and authorized sales representative for Spectrum Camera Solutions (“SCS”).

By placing an order with ExPC, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Sales Regions

ExPC ships to the United States, Canada, and select international destinations. Shipping terms vary by region.

2. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for verifying the following prior to order placement:

– Correct product model

– Required certifications (ATEX, IECEx, UL, CSA, etc)

– Voltage, mounting, and material requirements

– Network/VMS compatibility

– Site-specific and regulatory requirements

3. Shipping Policy

3.1 Domestic Shipping – United States & Canada

– Free standard shipping

– Estimated delivery: 5–20 business days

– Carriers include UPS, FedEx, DHL, and LTL freight

– Orders may arrive in multiple packages or pallets

3.2 International Shipping – Free Shipping (DAP)

– Delivery timelines vary based on destination, customs, and freight conditions

– Duties, taxes, customs fees, and brokerage charges are the responsibility of the customer

– Customs delays do not qualify for cancellation or refund

– Export restrictions may apply

4. Order Cancellation

Most SCS equipment is built-to-order. Orders may only be cancelled before production begins. Non-cancellable items include:

– Custom or configured products

– Built-to-order units

– Certified hazardous-location equipment

– Factory-assembled camera systems

5. Returns & Refunds

5.1 Global Rule — All Sales Are Final

All sales are final due to the regulated nature of SCS equipment. Returns, refunds, or exchanges are only allowed under the conditions below.

5.2 Eligible Situations (All Regions)

A return or correction may be requested for:

– Shipping damage

– Incorrect item shipped

– Manufacturer-approved warranty repair

Damage must be reported within 48 hours with photos of:

– The shipping box

– The product and damage

– Labels

– Internal packaging

Do not attempt to install or operate damaged equipment.

5.3 Optional 9-Day Return (USA & Canada Only — Requires Manufacturer Approval) Customers in the USA and Canada may request a return within 9 days of delivery if:

– The item is unused, unopened, and in original condition

– Certification integrity is intact

– SCS approves restocking

– The request is emailed to: sales@explosionproofcamera.com

Approval is discretionary and determined solely by SCS.

5.4 Return Procedure (If Approved)

If a return is approved:

– Customer pays return shipping

– Shipment must be trackable and insured

– Refund is issued only after SCS inspection

– SCS determines refund eligibility

– Manufacturer decisions are final

6. Warranty (SCS Manufacturer Warranty)

All warranty coverage for SCS-manufactured products is provided exclusively by Spectrum Camera Solutions. Warranty excludes improper installation, electrical issues, environmental misuse, and modifications.

Warranty duration:

• 5 years when the purchased product is registered online at https://www.spectrumcamera.com/warranty/

• 3 years limited warranty for purchased products not registered with SCS.

All freight is paid by the customer, including shipping for warranty claims, duties, customs fees, and brokerage charges. Warranty claims must be submitted to: sales@explosionproofcamera.com
